A non-profit with many years of experience teaching Growth, Development, and Sexual Health Education to elementary, middle and high school students throughout California was forced to pivot to teaching via online platform during the 2020 COVID-19 related school shutdown. This transition was especially difficult as the accepted best practice standards for comprehensive sexual health education, prior to COVID-19, was in-person instruction.
